Prepare yourself for otherworldly ‘hoodoos’ in Bryce Canyon National Park and the desert scenery in Death Valley—the lowest spot on the continent— before taking an optional helicopter ride above the incomparable Grand Canyon. You won’t just visit the West Coast—you’ll live it.

Day 1 san francisco Arrive at any time.

Day 2 san francisco/ yosemite np After a morning in San Fran, drive to Yosemite NP.

Day 3 yosemite np Take short hikes (weather permitting) to majestic waterfalls, clear lakes, beautiful meadows or walk amongst giant sequoias in Yosemite. Optional bike rentals in Yosemite Valley (summer only).

Day 4 yosemite np/bishop (summer)/bakersfield (winter) Continue exploring Yosemite in the morning on foot (weather permitting). In summer, travel via Tioga Pass to Bishop or drive to Bakersfield depending on the season.

Day 5 death valley/las vegas Visit one of the country’s most rugged landscapes, legendary Death Valley. Explore Las Vegas and stroll along the famous Vegas Strip. Opt to take a VIP limo experience or take in a show.

Day 6 las vegas Full day to explore Las Vegas.

Day 7 Zion np/bryce canyon np Visit Zion, Utah’s oldest national park. Explore towering cliffs, massive canyon walls and hike diverse and exciting trails (weather permitting). Head to Bryce Canyon.

Day 8 bryce canyon np/lake powell Explore Bryce Canyon NP on trails (weather permitting) among the amphitheaters and multi-coloured rock pinnacles called hoodoos before heading to Lake Powell. Opt for a cowboy steak dinner and a sunset horseback ride (seasonal).

Day 9 lake powell/monument valley Visit the Glen Canyon Dam and take a short hike to Horseshoe Bend, shaped by the Colorado River. Discover one of the most majestic places on earth, Monument Valley. Explore on a jeep tour led by a Navajo guide. Day 10 monument valley/grand canyon np Wander along trails, admire the views and have a pizza dinner at the rim of the Grand Canyon. Opt to take a helicopter flight or watch the IMAX Grand Canyon movie. (1D)

Day 11 grand canyon national park/sedona/ scottsdale Visit Slide Rock State Park. Stop in stunning Sedona on the way to the ‘Valley of the Sun’. Stop at Montezuma Castle. In the evening, enjoy a night out in downtown Scottsdale. Day 12 san diego Visit the Imperial Sand Dunes, then head to San Diego. Day 13 san diego Opt to visit Old Town, the Gaslamp district, Sea World or the San Diego Zoo. Opt for surf lessons or rent boogie boards to play in the waves (seasonal).

Day 14 san diego/Los angeles Welcome to Los Angeles. See the stars on the most famous sidewalk in Hollywood on an orientation tour. Drive through Beverly Hills and check out Rodeo Drive.

Day 15 Los angeles Depart at any time. We highly recommend booking pre- and post-accommodation to fully experience these famous cities.
